Paid Surveys/Mystery Shopping: What kind, how many?

My brothers friend makes $200 a month for driving through Sonic and writing a review on the cleanliness of the drive-thru and food. Has anyone tried this? Seems like a good extra way to make money. Are there better restaurants than Sonic you can review? And is there a limit, so I could make more than $200?

Without getting suckered by a company to pay a fee. I know a girl who did it for a little bit but she wasn’t able to do it and work full time because they were very specific about their needs-like you had to go to Burger King for breakfast and stores a very specific times. She said there where no sign up fees and she originally found them in the newspaper. She did a few jobs for them and got paid but she said they didn’t have a lot of work they could offer her.

I have also heard of people paying $30.00 member fee and getting scammed out of $3,000 after give the website their credit info.

I was interested in this because I need a job for some extra cash and I already do comparison shopping for the job I am at and have to do things like reports on how the traffic walks through the store and how many people past this rack and how assessable it is.

anyone know if shadowshopper.com is a legit mystery shopping site?

I signed up to this company to become a mystery shopper and it sent me lists of companies to sign up to in order to get the jobs, and one of them is shadowshopper.com, but they want a joining fee. Should I pay it? Anyone ever heard of this site before? Anyone ever tried it or knows someone who is a mystery shopper? if so, what sites are good?

I was reading up on mystery shopping cause I think I might like to try it. I know it doesnt pay much but I dont need much as a college student right now. Do you think it would be a good job for a college student just looking for a little extra gas/food money? Are the companies shoppers sign up with hesitant to give jobs to a 19 year old or do they really not care much about age?

Just looking for any experiences from people who have done it…

Every time I google them I keep running into bogus-sounding sites that promise the moon for a small one time fee.

how reliable is ” mystery shopping ” for a part time job. About 20 hrs a week. Is it worth getting involved.

Is ”Mystery shopping” just another one of those jobs from the internet or newspaper that the ”other ” person is going to make money , or is this part time job worth getting involved with ?
