Questions about mystery shopping?

I was reading up on mystery shopping cause I think I might like to try it. I know it doesnt pay much but I dont need much as a college student right now. Do you think it would be a good job for a college student just looking for a little extra gas/food money? Are the companies shoppers sign up with hesitant to give jobs to a 19 year old or do they really not care much about age?

Just looking for any experiences from people who have done it…

Has anyone done Mystery Shopping? If so how was it?

Hey, I know mystery shopping is real, because when i worked at McDonald’s, I got $50 because a mystery shopper said I did a good job. But I wanted to go and do that, because I’m no longer working and want to bring in an extra income.

So I was just wondering has anyone did it before and how did you like it?
Well, this one company I looked talked to said they do all the places in my area, and that I get to pick where and things like that, and where I live @, we have almost all the major stores in our area, and there within 5-10 minutes from my house, so that’s not a problem and neither is gas. But no one liked it? My husband told to me do project payday, but they wanted me to by some face thing and my husband was like “Uh no”…lol…but I
ll reconsider….I also was doin “ameriplan” and was thinkin of getting back on that…
And the company I talked to said they would provide the money to purchase things and very rarely will they ask for me to purchase

I have heard of it and it sounds like a good job that I would enjoy. Where do I begin? Do you know of any real mystery shopping jobs in New York state that would hire a 16 year old? I’ve seen many sites that require a membership fee of some sort, which to me sounds like a scam. Could I have a little guidance?
