   Go to — it’s a great resource for mystery shoppers/demo’ers. The mystery shopping forum also has a lot of history of companies posted, so you can search specific company names to see if they’re legit, or having issues (such as late payments, or misleading work descriptions, etc).

   Do not trust anyone who out of the blue contacts you to mystery shop. I used to mystery shop in college for a company who still exists called a-closer-look.com . Keep in mind you are not going to get rich mystery shopping…I think the most I was ever paid was $40 and reimbursed for the price of a meal. As I said I was in college so I got lots of free fast food etc. and a few bucks here and there which was worth my while at the time. Good luck!
